How ClashRoyaleDeck works, where the data comes from, and how to get the most out of the tools.
Is ClashRoyaleDeck free?
Yes. The deck builder, meta decks, counters, card stats and leaderboards are all free, with no account needed. Signing in only lets you save decks to a profile.
Where does the deck and card data come from?
From real Clash Royale battles through Supercell’s official API. We aggregate recent ladder and tournament games, so usage and win rates track the live meta instead of opinion.
How is the meta calculated, and how often does it update?
Decks and cards are scored by win rate and usage across the battles collected each day, and the rankings refresh continuously. Card and deck pages show the current week’s numbers.
What is the best deck for my arena?
Open Decks and filter by your arena, or pick a win condition you own — Hog Rider, X-Bow, Royal Giant, Graveyard — from Browse by archetype. Each deck shows its average elixir and live win rate.
How do I copy a deck into the game?
Tap Copy on any deck. That opens the official Clash Royale deck link, which loads all eight cards straight into an in-game deck slot.
How does the deck builder rate my deck?
As you add cards it checks your elixir curve, win condition, air and ground coverage, and synergies, then suggests cards that fill the gaps — from the same battle data behind the meta pages.
What are Evolution and Hero cards?
Evolutions are upgraded card variants unlocked with Evolution Shards; Hero (gold) is the level-2+ tier. Each variant has its own page and its own decks, because it is played differently from the base card.
How do you pick counters?
The Counter tool reads a card-vs-card matchup matrix built from real games. For any win condition it surfaces the cards and decks with the best measured win rate against it.
Do I need an account?
No. You only sign in to save decks to your profile or to upvote and favourite community decks.
