What is a Mortar deck?
A Mortar deck is built around Mortar as its win condition: the card your pushes are designed to protect and connect to the enemy tower. The remaining seven slots supply defense, spells and support that cover Mortar’s weaknesses and convert defensive stops into counter-pushes.
The strongest Mortar decks in the current meta are listed above, ranked by real win rate. Card lists, average elixir and usage all come from live battles, so the list follows every balance change automatically.
How to play Mortar
Play the first minute patiently: learn the opponent’s counters to Mortar and make positive elixir trades on defense. Commit to a big Mortar push when you have an elixir lead or when their key counter is out of rotation — support it with the deck’s spells and backup troops.
